Alishan Hardware is located right at 183-L in Model Town. It’s a very familiar area for most folks around here. We’ve been operating out of this shop for a good while now. Selling hardware isn't really a complicated thing, but you have to know what you're looking at to be helpful. We keep a lot of different things on the shelves, from common tools to basic fittings and pipes. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded with all the boxes stacked up in the aisles. It’s just the nature of the business when you have so much stock. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just walk in because they need a specific screw or maybe a new handle for a door. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when it's really busy, things get a little messy. That’s just life in a local hardware store. We like being in Model Town. It has a good neighborhood feel to it. Our days are mostly spent talking to people who are fixing up their houses or local builders looking for supplies. We don't use any high-pressure sales stuff here. If we have what you need, we just tell you. If we don't, we might know someone else who does. It’s a simple way to run a shop. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but hardware needs stay pretty much the same. People always need tools. We're just here to provide them.
