You can find us at 304 Mohan Place, over in L.S.C. Block-C of Saraswati Vihar. It’s a typical commercial block with a lot of different businesses squeezed in together. We are Akums Drugs And Pharmaceuticals, and our part of the building is usually buzzing with activity throughout the day. The stairs are a bit steep, so we get our exercise in just by moving between the different floors. It’s a practical setup here. We have our desks, the computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be. Saraswati Vihar is a decent area, and being in the Local Shopping Centre means we can quickly grab whatever we need. The morning starts with checking what came in overnight and seeing what needs to go out to the distributors. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the backup generator to kick in, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights on the exterior. If you walk past Mohan Place, you might not even notice us unless you’re looking for the address specifically. We like it that way. It’s a quiet kind of busy. We focus on the medicine side of things and try not to get distracted by the noise from the street. The staff is mostly local people, so we talk about the neighborhood news while we work and drink our tea.
