We’ve been here at Kingsway Camp on Mall Road 89 for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the students walking around this part of North Delhi. We mostly spend our days helping people who want to work in the airline industry. It’s not fancy, just a few rooms where we go over how to talk to passengers and how to look the part. Sometimes the traffic outside on Mall Road gets really loud, but we just keep the windows shut and get on with the lessons. Our students come from all over, some taking the metro and others walking from nearby hostels. We don’t have any big speeches to give. It is just a place where you show up, learn how to do the job, and hopefully get hired by an airline. The desks are a bit old, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We see a lot of young faces full of nerves before their interviews. It’s quiet in the mornings before the first batch arrives. We spend time sorting through paperwork and making sure the uniforms are clean. There is no magic to it, just practice and repetition. We like being in this part of town because everything you need is just a short walk away. It’s a practical setup for anyone around here looking for a career change. We just keep things moving one day at a time.
