Active India Social Foundation

Active India Social Foundation is situated over at A-1 on the second floor, specifically towards the back side of the building in Shiv Park Khanpur. It is not the easiest place to spot if you are just driving by quickly, but we have been here for a good while now. The office is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of paperwork piled up. It gets quite warm in the summer months being on the second floor, but we just keep the fans going and get on with things. Khanpur is a busy area with a lot of noise and people moving around all day. We like being in the middle of it. Our work isn't anything glamorous. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people from around the neighborhood. We don't have a big staff or any fancy equipment. It is just a handful of us trying to keep things moving in the right direction. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living and working in this part of town. We don't put on any acts here. When you come to the back side of A-1, you just see us for who we are. We are just regular people working out of a small space in Shiv Park. No big speeches or corporate talk, just the daily tasks that need finishing.
