A B C Interiors

We opened up A B C Interiors a while back at Pitampura in Shiva Market. If you know the area, we are at 51 B. It’s not a huge place but we have enough room to show some samples. Mostly we spend our time talking to people about their living rooms or how to fix up a kitchen that’s seen better days. The market stays pretty crowded on weekends so that is when we are busiest. I started this because I always liked how a fresh coat of paint or some new cupboards can change a whole house. We don't have a big fancy team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and get the measurements right. Sometimes the deliveries for the plywood or the tiles get delayed because of the traffic near the market, which is a bit of a headache. We just try to get the job done so people can move back into their rooms. The shop has stacks of catalogs and bits of wood everywhere. It’s a bit messy honestly. But that’s how we work. People stop by just to ask about prices or what color might look okay in a dark hallway. We’ve been in this spot long enough that most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s a decent way to make a living and we stay pretty occupied with the local houses around here.
