Mallick & Santra Engineering

We've been over here on Ichapur Road for a while now. Sealdanga is where we do most of the work, right near Kalitala. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. Mallick & Santra Engineering is just a small setup really. We handle the daily jobs that come through the door. Usually, it's just us fixing things or putting parts together. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty, but that's just how engineering work goes. People stop by when they need something specific done. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Just the machines and the tools we use every day. If you walk down the road, you’ll find us easily enough. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. The neighbors know us well by now. We try to keep things simple. No big speeches or complicated paperwork here. You just bring in what needs looking at and we see what can be done. It might take a day or two depending on the pile of work on the bench. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise but it keeps the air moving. We've seen a lot of changes in the area over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same. It's honest work. We don't mind the long hours if the job gets finished properly. That's about it.
