Kamala Engineering Works

We are located on Hit Road, near Arupara in the Ichapore area of Kamardanga. Kamala Engineering Works has been around for quite a few years now, and the place has a lot of history. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and brick walls that have seen a lot of hard work over the decades. You can smell the cutting oil and metal as soon as you walk through the doors. We have several old lathes and milling machines that have been with us for a very long time. They aren't the newest digital models, but they do the job just fine for the work we do. Our crew consists of men who have spent their whole lives learning how to fix and make things with their hands. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for visitors. Usually, if you come by to see us, you'll find us covered in a bit of grease, busy working on a specific part. We keep the big front doors open to let the breeze in from Hit Road, otherwise it gets too stuffy. It can get quite loud when all the machines are running at the same time. We don't do much in the way of advertising or promotion. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or other small businesses nearby who know we can handle the job. We have a small wooden desk tucked in the corner for all the bills and records. It’s a busy place from early morning until late.
