J. K. Enterprise

We are located in Kajirgoan village, which is part of the Unakoti district. Our place is very close to the Kajirgaon School, so most people just use that as a way to find where we are. It is a quiet village setting, not like the big industrial parks you see in the cities. We run J. K. Enterprise right from here. It is a small, family-style operation. We have grown up in this area, so being near the school feels right to us. Our work involves a lot of local coordination and dealing with the people who live around here. The roads can get a bit rough during the rainy season, but we always manage to keep things going. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a simple room where we keep our records and a small space for our materials. Most of the folks who work with us are from the nearby houses and families. We like the slow pace of life in the village. We just do our work, talk to the neighbors, and try to be useful in the community. It is not a very complicated business. We just take it one day at a time and see what needs to be done. We have been here for years and the school kids walking by every morning is just part of our daily routine now. It is home.
