Pro Logistics (I) Ltd. is based up here in Gangtok, East Sikkim. You can find us right opposite the local church. Working in the hills is a bit different than working in the plains. The weather can change in a second, and when the mist rolls in, everything feels a bit slower. Our office is a simple place where we keep track of goods moving in and out of the state. We deal with a lot of challenges like road blocks or heavy rain that messes up the schedules. It is a lot of coordination with drivers who have to navigate the winding roads around here. We aren't a huge corporation with a glass building; we are just a small team in a practical office near the church. We spend our days checking manifests and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly so the cargo doesn't shift on the mountain turns. It is honest work and can be quite tiring at times. We all know each other well in this office, and we usually have a pot of tea going to stay warm during the colder months. People in Gangtok know where we are, and we like being part of the community here. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just move things from one point to another and try to deal with the mountain logistics as best as we can.
