Tentai Foundation

Finding the Tentai Foundation means taking a trip out to Nachinola. It is near Mapusa but feels much more rural. We are at House No 283 in Borvonwado. The full address we use is Tentai Foundation Nachinola Mapusa B, 403508 Goa-North Goa. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the city. The road winds through a lot of green patches and small houses. Our house is a sturdy building that has been around for a while. It’s got a bit of a garden area in the front that we try to keep tidy when we have the time. Inside, it’s mostly just work space. We have a few tables pushed together to make a big desk for everyone. The paint on the walls is starting to fade in some spots, but we haven't really had the time to fix it up. We are more focused on what we are doing every day. It’s a peaceful place to work. You don't get much noise except for the occasional car or someone walking by. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark when a delivery comes. We have our sign for Tentai Foundation so people know they’ve reached the right place in Borvonwado. It is a simple setup without any bells or whistles. We just show up, do our tasks, and try to keep things organized. It’s a humble spot for the foundation to call home.
