Tata Communication Ltd (Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd)

Our place is at H.No: E-73 in the Fontainhas-Mala area of Panaji. If you know Goa, you know this part of town has a lot of history and colorful buildings. We’re right in the middle of it. It’s a bit of a contrast because we deal with communications and cables while the neighborhood feels like a different century. The building we’re in is older, and it has that specific smell of old walls and sea air. We spend our time monitoring lines and making sure everything stays connected. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon rains hit and things start leaking or getting damp. We have a small team here. We usually grab lunch at one of the little spots nearby. The work is mostly technical, but we spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at keyboards. It gets quiet in the afternoons when the sun is out, but we stay busy. We don’t have a fancy front desk or anyone to greet you; you just kind of walk in and find us working. It's a bit cramped with all the equipment and wires running around, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and are used to the rhythm of the street. It’s just a normal job in a nice part of town. We don't worry about being flashy, we just keep the lines open for everyone.
