We set things up here at House No 4A/Ug-2 in the Models Legacy complex. If you know Taleigao, you know it’s a fairly busy part of Panjim, but our corner stays mostly calm. It’s a standard apartment-style office space, nothing like those glass buildings you see in the movies. We like it that way. Most mornings start with the sounds of the neighborhood waking up before we settle into our routines. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the desks. It’s not a huge place, so we usually know exactly what everyone else is working on at any given moment. We’ve got the basics covered, some computers, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a kettle that gets used way too much. Living and working in North Goa means you get used to the rhythm of the place. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather gets heavy, but we usually stay on top of the pile. Taleigao is a nice middle ground between the chaos of the main city and the quieter outskirts. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Just a small team doing what we need to do in this unit. It feels like a real place, which is important to us since we spend so much time here together. It isn't perfect, but it is where we get the job done.
