About Sustainable Transitions Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in North Goa
Sustainable Transitions Foundation is basically just us working out of House No 362/B in Coma Vado. If you know Aldonabardez, you know it's a quiet enough spot. We spend a lot of time thinking about how things are shifting around here. It’s not like we have some fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a house. We have desks and old chairs and sometimes the internet goes out when the weather gets bad. People stop by to talk about the way things used to be and where they are going now. We named it Sustainable Transitions Foundation because that seemed to fit what we wanted to look at. Mostly, we just drink a lot of tea and try to make sense of the changes in the environment and the town. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to neighbors. Some days are slow. Other days, we are running around trying to get things organized. The house is old but it stays cool in the summer. We’ve been here a while now. It feels right to be part of the village instead of some big city center. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who care about how the transition happens for everyone. There’s always a stack of books on the table and someone usually forgot to wash their mug. That’s just how it is here. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just our bit.
