Sharp & Tannan, Chartered Accountants Firm

Ravindra is the one who usually handles things here at the Naval Academy area in Verem. We are located near INS Mandovi, which is a bit out of the main city chaos. Being a firm of chartered accountants, you can imagine there is a lot of paper everywhere. We’ve got ledgers, tax forms, and folders stacked up on every available surface. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except for the sound of calculators and typing. We are right in Bardez, and the commute isn't too bad if you are coming from Panaji. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a workspace where we sit and go through numbers all day. Sometimes the monsoon makes the walls a bit damp, but we just get on with it. We drink tea from the local shop and eat our lunch at our desks when things get busy. It’s not a corporate skyscraper. It feels more like a house that’s been turned into an office. We handle audits and accounts for people who have been coming to us for a long time. We don't go out and try to sell our services with big ads. We just sit here in Verem and do the math. It’s practical, straightforward work. Some days the numbers don't add up right away and we stay late to find the error. That’s just life in an accounting firm. We just keep calculating until it's done.
