Shalom Realty Llp is based right out of Hotel Villa Sol. It’s a bit of a different setup than your usual office building, but it works for us. Being in a hotel means there are always people coming and going, which keeps things interesting. We handle the real estate side of things from here. It started small and we’ve just kept it going. There isn't a fancy lobby for the business specifically, we just use the space we have. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on different sites around the area. We don't go in for big speeches or trying to sound more important than we are. We just know about the local properties and try to give people the straight story. If someone wants to know about a piece of land or a rental, we tell them what we know. Sometimes the coffee machine is broken or the weather makes it hard to get out to see a site, but we manage. It’s a local business through and through. We aren't part of some big national chain with a script. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. People usually find us because they know the hotel or someone told them we were here. It’s a simple way to run things, and it keeps our lives a bit less complicated. We just focus on the work right in front of us and try to be helpful to everyone who stops by to chat.
