Sacred Jambudweep Foundation

We are located at H.NO.274, right near the MPT Colony in Head Land Sada. It’s a busy part of South Goa with the port nearby and all the activity that comes with it. Sacred Jambudweep Foundation is basically just a few of us working out of this house. We decided to start this because we saw a lot of gaps in how things were being handled around the colony. The salt air from the coast really does a number on the paint here, so the place looks a bit weathered. Inside, it’s a bit of a squeeze with all the files and boxes, but we make it work. We don’t have a lot of rules about how we do things. If someone needs help, we see if we can do it. Sometimes we can’t, and we’re honest about that. The noise from the port and the traffic can be a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the people we talk to are workers from the area or their families. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s not a glamorous job. We don’t have any big corporate backing or anything. It’s just us trying to be good neighbors in Head Land Sada. It gets dusty and the fans are loud, but we are right where we need to be. We just take it one person at a time and do our best.
