Nikosiia Exim Private Limited

Nikosiia Exim Private Limited is based out of Alto Porvorim. We are in the Housing Board Colony, at building number M 79. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s pretty calm most of the time. We handle different kinds of trade, mostly focusing on getting things across the borders. Being in North Goa, we are close enough to Mapusa to get things we need easily. Our office is basically just a few rooms in the colony building. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us sitting at our desks, working through the lists of what needs to be shipped. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at spreadsheets and tracking numbers. The power goes out once in a while, so we have to have backups for our work. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with shipping agents and people at the port. We started this because we knew how the trade business worked and wanted to try it on our own. It’s not always easy, and some days are very long when things go wrong at customs. But we just keep at it. We aren't looking for awards, just trying to keep the business going and stay busy. The colony is full of families, so you hear kids playing outside while we’re doing our invoices and emails.
