Nfd Design Studio

You can find us over at Magnum Residency in Tonca, which is part of the Miramar area in Goa. It’s a pretty nice place to have a studio. Nfd Design Studio isn't some massive agency with a hundred employees. It’s just a few of us who really like putting things together and figuring out how they should look. Our space is located in a residential kind of building, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have our desks set up with all our gear, and there’s usually a lot of sketches lying around. Being in Goa, the pace is a little different than if we were in Mumbai or Delhi. We try to keep things steady without getting too stressed out. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain is so loud we can’t hear each other, but we just keep going. 403002 is a good zip code to be in. We get a lot of natural light through the windows, which helps when you are staring at a screen all day. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most people find us because they know someone who worked with us before. We just focus on the projects we have on our plate and try to do a decent job every time. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being close to the coast. It’s mostly just us drinking tea and drawing all day long.
