Konadkar Super Market

You can find Konadkar Super Market right in the Panchayat Complex in Mandrem. We are very close to the Dayananad Bandurgarh Garden, which is a nice place for people to walk in the evenings. Being in Mandrem means we get a mix of local people who live here all year and visitors who are just passing through. We started this market because we wanted a place where you could get your daily stuff without having to travel too far. We keep the shelves stocked with everything from soap to snacks. It’s a lot of work to keep everything fresh and organized, and sometimes we are still restocking late into the evening. The Panchayat Complex is a busy spot, so there is always someone coming or going. We don't have a big corporate philosophy; we just want to make sure the milk is cold and the bread is fresh. Some of our staff have been with us for a long time and know exactly what the regulars like. It’s a friendly atmosphere, and we often spend time talking to customers about their day. The shop isn't perfect—sometimes a light bulb goes out or a shelf gets a bit dusty—but we take care of it as soon as we can. It’s just a normal supermarket run by local people who care about their neighbors and their community. We do our best to keep things simple and easy for everyone.
