Our place is located at H.No: G-4, B-1 in the Joti Estet. It’s in Corlim Moular, Goa, and it definitely feels like an industrial zone. There are always trucks moving around and the sound of machinery in the distance. We’ve been operating Kineco out of this unit for a long time. It’s a functional space with high ceilings and concrete floors. We don’t have any air conditioning in the main area, just some big fans that move the air around. It gets really hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our days managing the production and keeping track of the inventory. It’s not a place for visitors to come and relax; it’s a place where work actually happens. The office part is just a small partitioned area with a couple of old computers and some very used chairs. We’ve got our routine down to a science. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and finish up when the sun starts to go down. The area around Corlim has changed a lot over the years, but our little spot in the estate stays pretty much the same. We don’t bother with fancy decor or polished floors. It’s a workspace for real people who don’t mind a bit of dust. We just focus on getting things done for the business and staying on top of the schedule.
