Jump Start

Jump Start is located within the Models Complex in Taleigao, Goa. It’s a place where we look after younger children and help them get started with their early learning. The space is bright and filled with all sorts of things for kids to do, like building blocks, puzzles, and art supplies. We are in a nice part of Taleigao, and it’s usually quite easy for parents to find us. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and informal. We aren't a big, cold institution; it’s more like a second home for the little ones who spend their mornings with us. There is always some kind of noise, whether it’s kids singing or just playing with their toys on the floor. We have a small team of staff who really enjoy being around children. We don't wear uniforms, and we don't have a long list of strict rules. It’s more about making sure the kids are safe and having a good time while they learn their basics. The complex itself is quite modern, but our unit feels very personal and lived-in. You’ll often see us sitting on the floor with the children, helping them with a drawing or reading a story. We know all the families in the neighborhood, and it feels like a very close community. It’s a simple, honest place where we just focus on the day-to-day care of the kids. No big promises, just a friendly environment for children to be children while their parents are at work.
