Indian Naval Despatch Foundation

Being over at Verem Bardez, specifically with the Indian Naval Despatch Foundation, means we are pretty close to the water. We are set up c/o The Commanding Officerins Mandovi, which sounds a bit more formal than it actually feels when you are inside. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure things get where they need to go. There’s a certain rhythm to the place because of the naval influence nearby. You hear the sounds from Mandovi and it keeps us on track. We aren’t doing anything flashy. Mostly, it’s just the daily grind of handling despatches and keeping things moving. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a lot of stuff comes in at once. We’ve got a small crew here. Everyone knows their job. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the task at hand. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially when the humidity picks up by the river, but we manage. People come and go. We keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a solid place to be if you like staying busy. We’ve been at this for a bit now and the routine is what keeps the foundation going day after day. It's nothing too complicated, just stuff that needs doing every single morning when we arrive.
