Icici Bank Ltd - Goa

Up here in Goa, we are based out of Mapusa in the Karraswadda area. Our office is actually part of a house, H. No. 149/3, which belongs to Mr. Uttam Calangutcar. It gives the whole place a much more relaxed, local feel than a typical city bank branch. You won't find any huge neon signs or massive glass doors here. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though things pick up when the local markets are in full swing. We spend our days dealing with the paperwork and accounts for people in the Bardez area. Since we are in a residential-style building, the atmosphere is a bit different. Sometimes you can hear the birds outside or the neighbors talking as they pass by. We have a small team here, and we mostly know everyone who walks through the door by their first name. It makes the work feel a lot less like a chore. The office inside is functional and tidy, with just enough space for our equipment and a place for visitors to sit. We don't go in for big marketing speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the banking business at hand and try to stay organized. If you're looking for us, just ask around Karraswadda; most of the locals know where the Calangutcar house is. It’s a simple setup, but it works well for what we need to do every day.
