Gmmco Ltd

Over in Goa, we are situated at the Desai Apartments in Gopal Nagar, which is up in Alto Porvorim. It’s a nice enough area, away from the beach crowds but still quite busy with local traffic. Our office at number two is where we handle the Gmmco Ltd business for this region. Being in Porvorim means we are close to the main highway, which is helpful for moving parts around. The apartment building is a bit older, and the stairs have that worn-down look from years of people coming and going. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and grease sometimes, mostly because of the manuals and the small parts we keep around. We have a small balcony where we can step out for a bit of air, though it’s usually just as hot outside. The work we do involves a lot of coordination with site owners and contractors who use heavy machinery. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing up reports. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the coffee cups at the end of the day. There is a sense of routine that keeps us going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office decor; we just try to make sure the work gets finished before we head home.
