We are based out of House Number 986, called Canidae, in the Alto Torda area of Alto Porvorim, Goa. It’s a quiet spot, not like the touristy parts of the state people usually think of. This is where Galleon Shipping Pvt Ltd operates from. We handle shipping stuff, which means a lot of phone calls to ports and tracking vessels. Our office is basically a house, so it has a very relaxed feel. We don't have a corporate lobby or anything like that. There’s usually a dog hanging around and someone making tea in the back. We spend our time looking at logistics and making sure cargo gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets stressful when ships are delayed, but we just take it as it comes. We’ve been in this Goa neighborhood for a while and the locals know us as the shipping folks. We aren't a huge operation, just a handful of people who know the business well. The office is full of old maps and shipping schedules pinned to the walls. We don't dress up much, maybe just a clean shirt if we have a meeting. It’s a simple way of working, focusing on the ships and the sea without any extra fluff. We just keep the wheels turning from our little corner of Porvorim.
