Dress Up Laundry Private Limited

Our place is located at House Number 296, right inside the Montfort Vocational Training Centre in Corlim. It’s a bit of a landmark area in Tiswadi, specifically the Mollar Panaji part of North Goa. Dress Up Laundry Private Limited has been operating out of here for some time. Since it’s a laundry business, it gets pretty warm inside with all the machines running. You can usually smell the detergent and the steam from the street. It’s not like those offices in the city with air conditioning that freezes you out. Here, we keep the fans going and the windows open. We have a routine where we start early to beat the midday sun. Corlim is a busy industrial kind of area, so there are always trucks moving around. We deal with a lot of heavy fabrics and linens every day. It’s physical work. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other’s families and what is going on in the village. Sometimes the water pressure is an issue, or a machine needs a part from the city, but we manage to figure it out. It’s just about keeping the workflow steady and making sure everything is clean. We aren't doing anything fancy, just providing a basic service that people around here need. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning until late afternoon, mostly focused on the laundry piles and the delivery schedules.
