Dr Rachana Fernandes has her practice set up in Karaswada, which is part of the Mapusa area in Goa. It’s a decent spot, easy to find if you know the neighborhood well. We don't use a lot of complicated medical jargon when talking to patients; we just try to explain things in a way that makes sense. The office has the necessary desks and chairs and the medical tools required for daily exams. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. We handle the appointments and the files without making a big fuss about it. There isn't any flashy signage or heavy advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or family members. It’s just a practical, local medical practice where the day-to-day work is about seeing patients and helping them get through whatever health issues they are dealing with at the time.
