BALLCAKE LLP

Our setup is located at House No B-111/1A in Bainguinim, which is part of Old Goa. It’s a residential area, so it’s a lot quieter than the main city parts of Tiswadi. We work out of this house, which makes the whole thing feel much more personal. There’s no big glass front or lobby here. You just walk up to the house. Most days, we are in the main room where we’ve set up our workspaces. It’s nice because we can hear the birds and the occasional scooter passing by on the local road. Being in Old Goa, there’s a sense of history around us, though we are mostly focused on our modern tasks. The office is a bit of a mix of home life and work life. You might see a stray bag of groceries near a stack of invoices. We don’t try to hide that. It’s just how we run things. We find that working from a house keeps the stress down, even when we have a lot of work to get through. It’s not a place for big meetings or formal suits. We wear what’s comfortable and focus on the laptop screens. We’ve been in Bainguinim for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business without all the extra fluff that usually comes with a corporate office. We just do our work and head to the kitchen when we need a break.
