Annette Barbosa

I’m based in Alto Porvorim at Landscape City, specifically in Block H-4. Living and working in Goa is different from the big cities. Things move a bit slower here, and I’ve learned to appreciate that. My office is basically a room in the complex where I keep all my notes and my computer. It’s not a commercial storefront with a big sign. Most people find me through word of mouth or by knowing the building. Annette Barbosa is just me, working through my daily list. The humidity can be a bit much, so I usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through the trees. Landscape City is a nice enough spot, mostly quiet except for the birds and the occasional scooter zooming by. I don't have a team of assistants. I handle my own mail, my own calls, and my own mistakes. It’s a simple life. I spend a lot of time reading through documents and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes I take a break and walk down the road to get some poi from the local baker. I don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound bigger than I am. I’m just a person with a desk and some work to do. It’s practical and it suits me fine. I’ve been in Bardez for a long time and I don't see myself moving anywhere else. It’s home and work all in one, and that is enough.
