Anisha Beauty Saloon

If you are walking around the Municipal Market in Panjim, you can find Anisha Beauty Saloon at shop number 87. We are right behind the back gate of Don Bosco School, which makes it a pretty familiar spot for a lot of people in Goa. Our salon is a small, cozy place where we handle everything from basic haircuts to facials and threading. It’s usually buzzing with conversation because our customers have been coming to us for years and we’ve all become quite friendly. We don't have those expensive, fancy setups you see in the big malls. We just have our mirrors, our chairs, and the supplies we’ve trusted for a long time. It can get a bit crowded on Saturdays, but we try to make sure everyone gets their turn without feeling rushed. The location in the market is great because people can drop in after doing their grocery shopping or while waiting for their kids to finish school. We put in long hours, especially during the festive seasons when everyone wants to look their best for parties and weddings. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and keeping the place tidy, but it feels good to be a part of the local community here in Panjim. We just do our work, keep the prices where they should be, and try to make sure everyone leaves feeling a bit better than when they walked in.
