A Lua Restaurant & Bar

A Lua is located at House No E/115 in Merces. It’s a quiet spot in Bhuttem Bhatt. The building is just an old house that we turned into a place for people to come and have a drink or a meal. We aren't like the big clubs on the beach. Here, things are slow. You can hear the birds in the trees and the neighbors talking across the fence. My family has lived in Merces for a long time, so this place feels more like a living room than a business sometimes. We have some tables inside and a few out where it’s cooler. The bar is small but we keep it stocked with what people like. Mostly, it’s locals who come by after work to sit and relax for an hour. They talk about the village news or the weather. We don’t have a massive menu with professional pictures. We just cook what we know how to make well. Some days it is busy and we are running around trying to keep everyone happy, and other days it is so quiet I can sit and read the paper for hours. It’s not a polished place. The floor tiles are a bit old and the chairs don't all match. But it’s comfortable and honest. People know they can come here and just be themselves without any fuss. It is just a local bar for the people who live nearby and want a quiet evening.
