Proteggere Fashionsprivate Limited

Our place is located in Kardam Puri near the Asharfiya Masjid. The house number is 147/3 in Gali Number 12. It’s tucked away in North East Delhi 110094 and it can be a bit tricky to find for the first time. Proteggere Fashionsprivate Limited is a small operation where we focus on our clothing work. The lane is quite narrow so we don't get big trucks or cars coming in here at all. We usually move our goods on smaller hand-pulled carts or scooters. It's a very local and friendly feel in Gokalpuri. You can hear the mosque and the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We work out of a few rooms that we’ve converted into a functional workspace. It isn't very fancy or modern but it has everything we need to do our jobs. We spend our hours cutting fabric and checking the stitching on various pieces before they are sent off. Most of the people working here are from the nearby streets so it feels like a family. We know each other well and that makes the long days go by much faster. We don't spend money on big advertisements because we prefer to just let the work speak for itself. Sometimes we sit on the front steps and have tea together when we need a short break from the machines. It’s a regular life and we are happy with how things are going. We just try to be useful and keep the business moving every day.
