Our place is in Nand Nagri, specifically E-1/328. If you know Delhi, you know it’s a busy, lived-in area. We do design work here. It’s not a huge office, just enough space for our desks and some drawing boards. We have been in this spot for a while. The neighborhood is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't some high-rise corporate firm. We are just local people doing design projects. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or noisy neighbors, but we keep the work going. Our team is small and we all pitch in where needed. We don't have a fancy receptionist or anything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We do a lot of drafting and planning. It takes a lot of focus. We like the grit of Delhi. It keeps us grounded. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just design things and hope they work out well for the people using them. We spend a lot of time on the computer, but we still like using pencils and paper sometimes. It feels more real that way. We are just a regular Delhi business trying to make a living and do decent work for the community and beyond. The stairs are a bit steep but once you're inside, it's a good place to work. We just get on with our tasks and try to stay organized.
