We started this pump business in a bit of a weirdly named spot in Delhi 110032. It is listed as being from the 10th Passed from CBSE Board area. Maybe that is just how the mail gets sorted around here. Either way, we have been making and fixing pumps for a long time. Delhi is a crowded place and everyone needs water moving through their pipes. We are not a giant company with millions of employees. It is just us in the workshop. I remember finishing school and getting right into the work. We make pumps for houses and for smaller commercial buildings too. It gets really hot in the summer and that is when everyone calls us because their old machines can’t handle the heat. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who know us from the neighborhood. We just show up, do the assembly, and make sure the motors are running right. My desk is usually covered in old receipts and parts diagrams. We do not use any scripts when we talk to people. If you need a pump, we tell you what we have and how much it costs. It is pretty simple. Sometimes we get behind on things when the traffic is bad, but we always get the job done eventually. We like the work. It is honest and it keeps the city running in its own small way.
