Tripund Sustainable Growth Foundation

Tripund Sustainable Growth Foundation is right here in Maujpur, specifically in Kachchi Colony. We are at House No. 230-A on the first floor. Durga Gali No. 2 is usually pretty lively and loud during the day. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s a busy area in North East Delhi and there's always something going on outside the window. We focused on growth and helping people get on their feet. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We have some old chairs and a lot of files that need sorting. Sometimes the electricity acts up but we manage to get things done. People stop by often just to talk about their day. We try to listen and see where we can pitch in. The neighborhood is crowded but people look out for each other. That’s why we like being here in Maujpur. We aren't some big organization with lots of money. We’re just local residents who decided to start something small. It takes a lot of time and sometimes we wonder if we're doing enough for the colony. But then someone comes by with a small success and it feels worth it. The stairs to the first floor are narrow. We keep the door open mostly so people feel welcome to just walk in whenever they need. It’s a simple setup. We just want to see the area improve and help the families living in these streets.
