Sun 'N' Shine Industries

We are located on the second floor of a building on Sahadev Street in Vishwash Nagar. Our address is Number 8/41. Being in Shahdara, the streets are always full of people and carts, so it’s a lively place to work. Since we are on the second floor, we spend a lot of time carrying materials up and down the stairs. It keeps us fit, I suppose. We make various small items here, mostly light manufacturing work. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit the benches and the supplies all in one area. We have big windows that let in some light, but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We aren't some big industry with a HR department. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders are filled. Sometimes we have tea together near the stairs when there is a break in the work. The noise from the street below never really stops, but you stop noticing it after a while. We’ve been in this part of Shahdara for a good number of years. It is a practical business, nothing fancy. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just make things and sell them. Usually, we are counting out the stock and packing boxes by the time the evening market starts to get busy outside.
