Our place, Suleman Dental Clinic And Implant, is over on Street No 1 at Plot No 176 in Kardampuri. Being near Shani Bazar means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. This clinic is a bit different from others because we have more equipment for doing implants. The space inside is basically one long room divided by a partition. I spend a lot of time cleaning the instruments and making sure the cabinet doors are shut properly. The walls are mostly white, but there’s a patch near the door where the paint is peeling a little bit from the damp. We have a couple of chairs for waiting, and a small TV that usually plays the news on a low volume. It’s a busy street, so there’s always dust coming in under the door, and I have to mop the floor twice a day. The plot is easy enough to find if you follow the main road from the bazaar. We get a mix of people coming in, some from right next door and some who travel from further away. It’s not a fancy medical center with a big staff. It’s mostly just us handling the appointments and the cleaning. I like the window at the back because it lets in some natural light during the afternoon. We stay open pretty late most nights to make sure we see everyone who needs help. It’s a straightforward, busy little clinic in the heart of the community.
