Sk Clinic

This is Sk Clinic, located at A- 5/1 in Ambika Vihar. It’s a pretty straightforward place where people from the colony come when they aren't feeling well. We aren't a massive hospital with hundreds of rooms, just a local clinic trying to take care of the basic health needs of our neighbours. The waiting room is small, and sometimes the chairs get full on Monday mornings when everyone seems to have caught a cold or a fever over the weekend. We know most of the families around Ambika Vihar by their first names. It’s a quiet part of the area compared to the main markets, which makes it easier for patients who aren't feeling up to a long trip. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but for now, we just focus on the medicine and talking to the people who come in. There is no big marketing team here, just the doctor and a couple of assistants making sure things run okay. We spend our days checking blood pressure, writing out slips for medicine, and listening to folks talk about their aches and pains. It’s the kind of place where you don't need an appointment weeks in advance. We just try to be here when the doors open and stay until the last person is seen. It’s just daily work for us, helping out where we can. Sometimes the neighborhood is very still, and other days it's quite loud.
