Shisa Clinic

Shisa Clinic is tucked away on Street No 8A in Meet Nagar. It’s a residential area, so it’s mostly locals who come to see us at C-18. The street is a bit narrow, so if two cars meet, one has to back up. Our clinic is just a few rooms on the ground floor. We’ve got a small waiting area with some old magazines that nobody really reads. Most of the time, the people waiting are just chatting with each other because they live on the same block. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even if people are there because they’re sick. The walls are painted a pale green that's faded over the years. We keep the place tidy, but it's an old building, so it has its quirks like the squeaky front door. We see kids with scraped knees and older folks needing their blood pressure checked. It’s a steady stream of people from morning until we close up in the evening. There’s no big fancy logo on the door. We just have a small board with the clinic name. Working here in Meet Nagar feels like being part of a big family. We know who is related to who and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s just a regular clinic doing regular work for the people nearby. We don’t have much in the way of fancy gadgets, but we have enough to take care of the basics. We just try to be helpful to the neighbors.
