Sealion Welfare Foundation

This is the Sealion Welfare Foundation office, over in the MCD Flats in Sunder Nagari. We are up on the first floor at K-239. It's a busy neighborhood and there's always kids playing out front or people walking by. Our space isn't very big, but we make it work for the meetings and the paperwork we have to handle. Most of the time, we are out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk. We’ve got a couple of old chairs and a table where we sit and talk about what needs doing next. It’s not a fancy setup. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just keep working by the window light. Being in the MCD Flats means we are right in the middle of where people live, which is good for what we do. We try to help out where we can, though there’s always more work than there are hours in the day. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s low on the list of priorities right now. We just focus on the people who come through the door. It’s simple work, really, just trying to be useful to those around us. If you come by Sunder Nagari, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually have the door open to let a breeze in. It’s just a plain office for plain people trying to help out where we can.
