I live over in Rohini, specifically in Pocket B-5 at Flat No 397. Delhi is a huge place, but this little corner of the city is where I have settled down. Being retired basically means I am done with the nine-to-five grind and now I just look after my own affairs. It is a quiet residential area for the most part, which is exactly what I wanted after so many years of working. The address 110053 is where you will find me most days. I usually wake up early, maybe go for a short walk, and then spend the rest of the day catching up on things I never had time for before. The flat is not huge, but it is comfortable and has everything a person needs. I do my own cooking and keep the place tidy. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a quick talk about the weather or local news. It is a very different pace of life than what I was used to. I don't miss the long commutes or the stressful meetings at all. Rohini feels like a world of its own sometimes. I just take things one day at a time here. It is a practical way to live, without any of the extra noise or complications of a career. I am just an ordinary person enjoying the peace and quiet of my home.
