We are located on 33 Feeta Road in Karawal Nagar. It is a very busy stretch of road and there is always something going on right outside our front door. Malani Overseas has been operating from this same spot for quite a few years now. It is not a huge place, just enough room for a few desks and all the files we need to keep track of. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, which often makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get through to us. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking through long lists of items. Dealing with overseas stuff means we have weird hours sometimes because of the different time zones. Sometimes we are still here late at night waiting for a specific call to go through. It is not always exciting work, mostly just paperwork and making sure things are moving to where they are supposed to go. The tea stall nearby is where we spend most of our breaks during the day. We know most of the other people on this block by their first names. It is a noisy neighborhood, but you stop hearing the sound of the engines after a while. We are not looking to grow into some giant company; we just want to keep things running steady for now. My father started this business and now we just keep the tradition going as best as we can.
