If you know Shahdra, you know how packed the streets can get, especially around Vishwas Nagar. Our office is on Street No. 4, specifically at 1-38. It is a tight area with a lot of small businesses squeezed in next to each other. We do our work with building products right in the middle of all that chaos. Finding a parking spot near our place can be a real headache sometimes, but that is just life in this part of Delhi. Inside, we have our desks and some samples of what we make. It’s a bit of a maze getting back here if you aren't familiar with the lane numbers. We’ve been at this address for a while, so the neighbors know us well. The morning starts with clearing out the emails and then someone usually goes out to get a round of chai for everyone. We deal with building materials, so there is always talk about dimensions and schedules. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The walls are a bit scuffed and the ceiling fans hum all day long, but it feels like home to us. We don't do much in terms of advertising; people usually just find us through word of mouth or because they are already working in the Shahdra area. It’s just a group of regular people trying to keep things running smoothly.
