Our place is at 604 Street No 7 in Maujpur. We share the area with a lot of other small businesses, so it’s always pretty lively. At Impex Cctv Systems, we mostly focus on cameras and monitors. It’s a specific kind of work that takes a bit of patience, especially when you’re trying to run wires through old walls. We’ve spent many afternoons on ladders trying to get the angle of a lens just right. The shop is often cluttered with boxes and different types of cables. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city; we just want to do a decent job for the people who come to us. Most of our customers are from right here in the neighborhood. They come in, tell us what they’re worried about, and we see what we have on the shelf that might help. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t sit in meetings all day. Usually, we’re out at a site or sitting at the workbench with a screwdriver. There’s always something to learn because technology changes fast, but the basics stay the same. We like being in Maujpur. It feels like home to us. Sometimes the street is loud, and sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep at it. It’s just us, some cameras, and a lot of hard work. We don't see any reason to make it more complicated than that. It’s a living and we’re happy with it.
