Here4You Foundation

Our place is at D-20-A in Mukund Vihar, which is part of Karawal Nagar in North East Delhi. We are located in Gali Number 5. If you aren't from this side of Delhi, it can be a little tricky to navigate the streets, but once you get into Gali 5, we are easy to spot. The Here4You Foundation is really just a small team of local residents. We wanted a place that felt like home, so we didn't go for a commercial building. Instead, we are right here in the middle of the residential area. The office is basically a front room with some desks and a computer. We get a lot of noise from the street—kids playing, vendors calling out, and the general hum of Karawal Nagar. It’s a lively atmosphere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. Mukund Vihar is a tight-knit community, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We like it that way because it makes our work feel more direct. We don’t have fancy brochures or a marketing team. If something needs doing, we just get together and do it. Sometimes we run out of chai or the power goes out for an hour, but we just keep going. It’s a very grounded way to run a foundation, and it fits our neighborhood perfectly. We are just here whenever someone needs to talk.
