We are over at C-12/23 in Yamuna Vihar, which is a busy part of Delhi-110053. It is a pretty standard setup here for Gold Developers Pvt.Ltd. The office is right in the middle of a residential block, so we see the same faces every day walking past our door. Yamuna Vihar has a lot of energy, and we definitely feel that when we are trying to get our trucks or materials through the streets. Most of our work involves local building projects, so we spend a lot of time on our feet and away from the computer. Inside the office, it is mostly shelves full of files and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We don’t really care much for fancy furniture or looking like a big corporation. We just want to make sure the walls we build are straight and the projects get finished. The team is just a handful of local guys who know the area well. We talk a lot of shop over lunch and try to figure out the best way to handle the next job. It is not always easy with the regulations and the weather in Delhi, but we’ve been doing this long enough to not get too stressed out. We just take things one day at a time and keep at it. There is always a new problem to solve but we find a way.
