Goenka Traders

Goenka Traders is tucked away in Mahavir Gali inside Sriram Market. Our address is IX / 7124 in the Mahavir Extension area. If you know these lanes, you know they can be a bit of a maze. We have been here for years, through all kinds of weather and market changes. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a website or a social media page. We just have our shop and our phone. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or helping people who wander into the gali looking for something specific. The space is a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of stock, but it works. We have a couple of wooden chairs for visitors to sit on. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the business running and stay on good terms with the other traders around us. It’s a community here. We know who is selling what and where to get the best price for parts. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the festival seasons. But it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be reliable for the people who count on us. It is just a regular market life for us.
