Down at Barakhamba Road, specifically Gf-6a in the Indra Prakash Building, you can find F D Variety Kulfies. Being in Cannaught Place means there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here in the ground floor unit for a while. It’s a busy building and people from the offices upstairs often come down when they need a break. We keep the freezers running all day and night to make sure everything stays cold. The space is not very big but it works for what we do. Dealing with the heat in Delhi is a constant thing, so the kulfi stays popular most of the year. We have different kinds stacked up. Sometimes the machines make a bit of noise but we are used to it by now. The Indra Prakash Building is a well-known spot, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time just keeping everything clean and making sure the orders are right. It gets really crowded on weekends when people are out walking around CP. We don't really change much, we just keep doing what we've been doing since we opened here. It’s a straightforward business and we like being in this part of the city even with all the noise and traffic. We usually stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. It is a long day every day.
