We operate from Gali Number 2 in C-Block, Bhajanpura. It’s on the ground floor of building 120/18. North East Delhi is a busy place, and Bhajanpura is definitely one of those spots where you have to know your way around or you’ll get lost in the alleys. Our street is narrow, so we can’t really get big trucks right to the door, which means we do a lot of heavy lifting by hand. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few fans that hum loudly and some old desks we bought second-hand. It’s where Dejavu Foods lives. We deal with a lot of local suppliers, and people are always popping in and out to drop things off or just to chat. The ground floor gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always sweeping. We don’t have a big marketing department or any of that. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the food is moving. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the stall at the corner. It’s hard work and the space is tight, but there’s a good feeling about being right in the heart of the neighborhood. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. The back room is where we keep the extra stock, and it’s a bit of a maze back there with all the boxes. We just keep going one day at a time.
