Chandrodaya Packagings

Our shop is B-58 in Gali Number 7. It’s right near Wazirabad Road in the Khazoori Khas main market. Being in the market means there is never a quiet moment. There are always horns honking and people shouting. We do packaging work, so our space is usually filled with cardboard and tape. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everything is covered in a thin layer of it. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for years. We don’t have any big titles or fancy offices. I usually sit on a wooden stool near the entrance. The shop gets a bit drafty in the winter, but we just wear extra sweaters. We don’t use any complicated software to run the business. We keep everything in a simple diary. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes on the sidewalk for a bit. The neighbors don’t mind because they do the same thing. We aren't looking to change the world. We just want to make sure the boxes are sturdy and the orders go out on time. It’s a practical business for practical people. We’ve been in Khazoori Khas long enough to know everyone’s name on this street. It’s a good community to be a part of while we do our daily work and wait for the evening to roll around.
